Chelsea new manager has disclosed his stance on Raheem Sterling amid the players poor form.

The 27-year-old was recruited by the former Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel with the expectations of seeing him get involved in most of the goals but since the arrival of the new manager; Graham Potter, Sterling’s form has witnessed a major decline.

Across his 11 games for the West Londoners so far in the Premier League, Raheem Sterling have only been able to find the back of the net on three occasions. A worrying stat that has left even the fans murmuring.

However, the manager appears to still be solidly behind the former Manchester City attacker, suggesting that he is just like every other player and not immune to poor form.

“That’s your opinion. Every player has times where it doesn’t go as well as they’d like it too. It’s too easy to zoom individuals, you need to look at the team and how they’re functioning,” the former Brighton boss said.

“You have to help the team improve, then individuals can do better.”

“It’s not a time just to use youngsters for the sake of it. We have to try to pick a team that can we win. We’ve used a lot of young players, they’ve been impressive. I’ve liked their character and personality.”

“Dinamo are a talented and dangerous side. Good width and well organised. A quality team. They’ve earned the right to be here, we have to be ready for them. We want to finish off the competition well.”
