That led to a long stoppage play as the 33 year of received treatment on the pitch, before been carried to St. Mary’s Hospital London.
There was panic and tension in the Chelsea dressing room, but a recent press release calls for joy, as head coach Graham Potter has confirmed Cesar is responding to treatment.
Head Coach Potter, confirmed after the defeat to bottom side Southampton, that the Chelsea captain and Spain international was responsive and speaking to his wife.
Cesar has taken to his social media handle to thank the team, staff and mates for their concerns, most of whom reached out and came to see him.
He also thanks his wife for standing by him all, he is out at the time, with no known date for return, though he said he wishes the lads well till he si strong enough to be back with the team.
