Mexican boxer Gilberto Ramirez has challenged WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitriy Bivol.

“Everyone knows that I want to fight Bivol. He needs to stop running from me and sign a contract to fight.

I deserve this fight. I think I can win because I’m bigger, stronger and smarter,” Ramirez said.

Ramirez defeated Dominic Boesel over the weekend and Bivol defeated Saul Alvarez on May 7.
