Ghana have recieved an injury boost ahead of their AFCON 2023 opener.

Africa Cup of Nations kicks off on January 13, 2024 in Ivory Coast. Ghana are in Group B along with Cape Verde, Egypt and Mozambique.

Their first game of the tournament is against Cape Verde on January 14, 2024.

Ahead of their first game, the Black Stars’ key player Mohammed Kudus has returned to training.

Kudus trained with the rest of the squad at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Tuesday as he returned from minor injury which he picked up while playing for West Ham when they faced Arsenal on December 28.

Ghana expect the star to recover on time for their opener on January 14.
