Ghana coach speaks out on Mohammed Kudus ahead of Egypt clash

Ghana faced Cape Verde in their Africa Cup of Nations 2023 group stage opener and suffered a defeat with a 2-1 score.

Mohammed Kudus missed the defeat due to an injury. Kudus arrived to international duty with a hamstring injury.

Ghana’s next game in the group stage is against Egypt pn Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Ahead of the game, Ghana coach Chris Hughton gave an update on the star.

“We will continue to assess him. We have today and tomorrow morning to assess. He has trained the last few days, but we will assess him, as I say, today and tomorrow and make a decision tomorrow,” Hughton said on Wednesday.
