Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to send a message to Harvey Elliott following his goal in the Champions League group stage win over Ajax.
Liverpool celebrated a 3-0 victory over Ajax in the UCL group stage on Wednesday, October 26 and reached the knockout phase.
Goals from Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott helped the Reds to celebrate the victory.
Following the game, Lineker took to Twitter to send a message to Elliott after his goal.
“A first Champions League goal for Harvey Elliott. He now has more goals in the Champions League/European Cup than….me,” wrote Lineker on Twitter.
