Gary Lineker has raved about Miguel Almiron following Newcastle United’s win over Southampton yesterday.
The Magpies celebrated a 4 – 1 victory over the Premier League opponents on matchday 15. Almiron scored one of the winning goals for his team along with Chris Wood, Joe Willock and Bruno Guimarães.
Lineker was impressed by Almiron’s display against the rivals and described his goal as “lovely”. According to the former England star, the 28-year-old has improved a lot under the boss Eddie Howe.
Lineker took to Twitter to share his high praise, writing: “Another lovely goal from Almiron. Looks a completely different footballer under Eddie Howe.”
