Garth Crooks has shared his high praise for Kevin De Bruyne and the midfielder’s huge contribution to the game.
Manchester City celebrated a 3 – 0 victory over Wolves in the Premier League matchday 8 on Saturday. Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden scored the winning goals for their team.
De Bruyne played a key role in the Citizens’ latest game as well as he provided two assists.
“Manchester City took all the points and there was absolutely nothing Wolves could do about it. Three goals for City and two assists for De Bruyne – job done,” Crooks wrote on his BBC column, including De Bruyne in his Premier League Team of the Week.
“It’s getting to a stage when you’re starting to ask yourself: how does De Bruyne continually produce such extraordinary quality? That’s five assists already this season and more are certain to follow. I’ll bet De Bruyne gets as many assists this season as Haaland gets goals.”
