There are talks of Arsenal’s Nuno Tavares potentially moving from Nottingham Forest to Galatasaray in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Galatasaray, seeking to address the underperformance of Angeliño, is in talks with Arsenal regarding a potential loan deal for the promising Portuguese defender.
Tavares’ loan spell at Nottingham Forest has faced challenges, with injuries and struggles in team selection leading to his demotion to the bench. His frustration became evident when he deleted his Instagram account after being left out against West Ham.
Galatasaray, who had expressed interest in Tavares last summer before he opted for Forest, now sees him as an ideal replacement, especially with Angeliño potentially moving to Ajax.
However, finalizing the deal may not be straightforward. Nottingham Forest may be hesitant to release Tavares without securing defensive cover, and Arsenal might be inclined towards a permanent sale rather than another loan.
