Everton boss Frank Lampard heaps praise on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford after FA Cup defeat.
Everton manager Frank Lampard believes Marcus Rashford was his side’s undoing doing their FA Cup clash against Manchester United on Friday night.
Rashford was a constant threat down the left-wing and played a role in Man United’s two goals and eventually got on the scoreboard in injury time when Bruno Fernandes let him play a late penalty.
The goal was Rashford’s fifth goal in five matches on a bounce and he’s currently one of the most in-form players in the country.
Lampard believes it was Rashford’s individual brilliance that helped Manchester United eliminate Everton from the FA Cup.
Speaking after the final whistle, Lampard said: “Marcus Rashford was probably the difference. A top individual talent can do that to you.”
