In 2019, Thomas became the first woman to judge an NFL play-off game.

The Super Bowl finalists will be determined Sunday in the conference finals, where the Green Bay Packers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the current champion Kansas City Chiefs face the Buffalo Bills.

The 55th Super Bowl will take place in Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium on February 7th.
