Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United and PSG are not in talks for Kylian Mbappe contrary to recent speculation.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are unlikely to sign PSG star Kylian Mbappe in January as there are no talks currently ongoing with both parties.

Man United are reportedly planning on cutting ties with Cristiano Ronaldo after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner made some strong allegations about the club and Erik ten Hag in his interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored.

The 37-year-old accused the Glazers family of running Manchester United as a marketing club and said they don’t care about the club, sporting-wise.

Ronaldo also made it public that he doesn’t have respect for Erik ten Hag because the Dutch tactician doesn’t respect him and also held that the former Ajax manager alongside two or three chiefs at the club are forcing him out of Old Trafford.

As per several reports, Ten Hag has informed Man United’s hierarchy that he no longer wants Ronaldo in his team and suggested that Manchester United can be stronger without the distractions that come along with the Portugal international.

United are reportedly in support of the former Ajax manager and as a result, reports emerged this week that United will either look to sign Kylian Mbappe or Victor Osimhen as a direct replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that United are not in talks with Mbappe’s camp and PSG are not interested in parting ways with the Frenchman in January.
