Anthony Elanga has caught the attention of quite a number of clubs across Europe including Premier League side Everton.
Manchester United and Everton are poised to engage in negotiations over the potential transfer of talented winger Anthony Elanga, as the player seeks a fresh start away from Old Trafford during the current transfer window.
Reliable sources, including renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, have indicated that direct talks between the Merseyside club and Manchester United are imminent, following Everton’s initial expression of interest in securing Elanga’s services.
Since January, a number of clubs have reportedly shown keen interest in signing the 21-year-old, making it imperative for Everton to swiftly wrap up the deal in order to ward off potential rival bids for the highly-regarded Swedish starlet.
Elanga, who is contracted to Manchester United until 2026, appears to be on the periphery of manager Erik ten Hag’s plans, as indicated by the Liverpool Echo. Consequently, bids in the region of £10 million are believed to be sufficient to secure the young winger’s signature.
Despite limited playing time last season, with just 702 minutes across 26 appearances, Elanga showcased glimpses of his immense potential. However, in order to continue his development, the talented Swedish international requires a more substantial role at this stage of his career.
