Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Moises Caicedo’s future amid Arsenal and Chelsea interest.
The two Premier League sides have been recently linked with a January move for the midfielder. The latter has also requested his club to let him leave in search of new challenges.
Arsenal have made two bids for Caicedo as they want to complete the move by the transfer deadline. However, Romano claims Brighton would agree to a deal only if they receive more than £70m.
“We’ll see what happens next with Arsenal & also with Chelsea, but Brighton want to keep the player,” the journalist said.
“They won’t let him go unless they receive more than £70m, something like that. It’s not an easy deal, Arsenal are still there, so let’s see,” he added.
