The Germany international has been recently linked with the move away from Stamford Bridge, with Real Madrid showing huge interest in getting his signature.
According to Romano, La Liga giants have no plans to pay a significant fee for Havertz. While Carlo Ancelotti appreciates the player, the club are not willing to meet the Blues’ demands of €60 million plus add-ons.
The sports journalist has added that the negotiations are currently suspended, and the situation may only change if the price tag decreases later in the transfer window.
