Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has opened up on the latest situation regarding Mykhaylo Mudryk’s transfer.
Shakhtar Donetsk star has been heavily linked with the move to the Premier League, with Arsenal showing their interest in the player.
Gunners were close to securing Mudryk’s transfer this summer, though any deal didn’t materialise. However, the Ukraine international is still on the club’s radar.
“From what I’m told, Mykhaylo Mudryk has always been happy about Arsenal’s interest, both now and also back in August,” Romano said when giving an update on the player.
He added: “He [Mudryk] likes the club and the project, but it’s about reaching an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk, they want more than €65m.”
