Tottenham are considering former Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Tim Steidten as one of the potential candidates to replace Fabio Paratici according to the sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Paratici recently resigned from his position as Spurs’ managing director of football after his appeal against a two-and-a-half-year ban was dismissed by Italy’s highest sports court.
He had initially stepped back from his role in March following a 30-month ban imposed by FIFA due to his involvement in false accounting at his former club, Juventus.
Romano claims now Steidten is on Tottenham’s radar to be the next sporting director at the North Londo side.
The 43-year-old previously served as the sporting director at Bayer Leverkusen but left the club by mutual agreement in March. He has also been previously linked with Manchester United and Liverpool according to Football Insider.
