Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has named a key factor that pushes Mykhailo Mudryk to join Arsenal.
Shakhtar Donetsk star has been heavily linked with the move to the Emirates Stadium for the summer transfer window, however, any deal didn’t materialise.
Gunners are still interested in the Ukraine international and have already made their official bid for signing the player.
According to Romano, Mudryk wants a move to Arsenal and has already shown his wish to join the Premier League giants on social media. However, it’s not the main reason he is eager to be an Arsenal player.
“Mudryk loves Arsenal as a club, but also he knows Mikel Arteta has been following him for a long time & this is a factor in his decision-making,” the journalist wrote in his column.
