Spurs have agreed personal terms with Maddison as negotiations with Leicester City are finally advancing and talks are underway.
The Foxes were relegated to Championship during the 2022/23 season as they finished 18th in the league table.
Maddison made overall 32 appearances in which he scored 10 goals and provided 9 assists.
