Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Chelsea’s pursuit of Enzo Fernandes.
Benfica star has been recently linked with the move to Stamford Bridge for the January transfer window following his impressive World Cup campaign with Argentina national team.
According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now in direct talks with the Portuguese club over Fernandez’s potential move.
Graham Potter’s side want to pay huge money instead of Benfica’s €120m release clause. Liverpool and Manchester United are also interested in the player’s service, though they are yet to make a bid for the player.
Romano has added that Fernandez has already said “yes” to joining Chelsea.
