Erling Haaland has sent a social media message following Manchester City’s game with Tottenham.
The Citizens had faced two defeats in the last two games before the meeting with the Spurs. Southampton and Manchester United beat them in the FA Cup quarter-finals and in the Premier League respectively.
City were down 2 – 0 to Tottenham in the first half of the league clash that took place on Thursday. Pep Guardiola’s side made an impressive comeback in the second half due to Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez’s goals.
Haaland has been recently at the center of criticism after failing to show his best form following the international break.
The Norwegian managed to score one of the winning goals versus Spurs and took to Twitter to silent the critics. He wrote: “The right response.”
