Erik ten Hag has finally come to a decision following Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
Man United boss believes Cristiano Ronaldo went too far following his interview with Piers Morgan.
Cristiano Ronaldo is keen on a Manchester United departure after his interview with Morgan worsened his stay at the club.
Despite being disciplined twice this season, Ronaldo in another mix at the club won’t only take him off the first team but as well have him sold.
At first, the former Ajax boss warned Ronaldo about leaving the match against Rayo Vallecano during the preseason before he repeated same act against Tottenham after refusing to come on as a substitute which led to him being fined two weeks of his wage.
Erik ten Hag is soo displeased with the latest development and has reportedly delayed his holiday to hold a lengthy discussion with the club owners on a permanent solution to the Ronaldo saga.
The five time Balon d’Or winner aimed direct shots at the manager stating: “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me.
“If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.”
He added critics aimed towards the club as a whole: “Yes, not only the coach, but another two or three guys around the club. I felt betrayed.
“People should listen to the truth. Yes, I felt betrayed and I felt like some people don’t want me here, not only this year but last year too.”
In response, United put out publicly a statement in reaction to the interview conducted; “The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established.
“Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff and fans.”
