Mason Mount returned to squad after being sidelined for a long time.
Manchester United prepare to face Chelsea on Thursday, April 4 in an away Premier League game.
Ahead of the clash, ten Hag has revealed whether Mason Mount could start against the Blues.
Mount returned to United squad when they faced Brentford and scored the Red Devils only game in a 1-1 draw.
The 25-year-old was sidelined for the majority of the season with a calf injury.
“He’s a fantastic football player but it’s important first that he is getting and keeping fit because he has had three injuries,” said ten Hag.
“Like with Licha, another injury, you want to avoid and we have to do this carefully.
“The first objective is to keep him fit. Then he can benefit and contribute to the team like he did on Saturday when he had a big impact.”
