Erik ten Hag has revealed the details regarding Lisandro Martinez’s move to Manchester United.
The Argentina international joined the Red Devils during the summer transfer window, signing a contract valid until 2027.
Ten Hag has now admitted that the defender was linked with the move to another Premier League side Arsenal before making a decision to sign for United.
“Lisandro Martínez called me up and said: I will leave Ajax. I can sign for Arsenal but if you want me, I will go to Manchester United,” the manager told the media ahead of the club’s EFL Cup game with Burnley.
