Erik ten Hag has responded when asked whether Ahtony Martial could be in Manchester United’s starting lineup for the upcoming clash against Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils are set to face Forest in the next league clash on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Ahead of the game, Ten Hag met the media to share the latest team news.
When asked about Martial and his potential involvement in the first team at the weekend, the Dutch manager said, via Manchester Evening News.
“Maybe he can but it’s a risk and we can’t take that risk in this moment because we don’t have so many options in the frontline with Rashford and Garnacho injured.”
“So we have to be careful and also in the individual prospect we know when there’s a lot of load he gets injured and we have to build it, especially when the games come quick.”
