Erik ten Hag has reacted as Casemiro is set to miss Manchester United’s game with Arsenal.
The Red Devils shared the points with Crystal Palace, playing a 1 – 1 draw with the Premier League side on Wednesday evening.
Following the game, Erik ten Hag’s side are sitting in 3rd place in the league table, nine points behind the leaders Arsenal. The latter will be United’s next opponents in the domestic top tier.
Casemiro received his fifth yellow card of the season while playing versus the Eagles. This means the club’s key midfielder will be unavailable to face the Gunners.
“He’s [Casemiro] a really important player for us and a reason we’re in this position,” Ten Hag said after yesterday’s game.
“But last time we beat Arsenal without Casemiro. We need to do again,” he added.
