The Dutch manager isn’t holding back in exercising his powers as the Boss at Old Trafford as he finally decides Cristiano Ronaldo’s fate.
Ronaldo stormed off the pitch on Wednesday night after been snubbed despite been asked to warm up twice by Erik ten Hag.
Things are getting worse between Ronaldo and Erik ten Hag as it’s understood that there was a burst-up between both men at the club’s training facility this morning.
With a lot of angry discussions held this morning at Carrington, ten Hag made it clear to the 5-time Balon d’Or winner that storming off the pitch and stadium before full time was actually a disrespect to both the club and the players.
Ronaldo didn’t just head for the tunnel as he even left the Stadium before everyone else, supposedly angered by the fact that he wasn’t put on the pitch or better still asked to warm up twice without getting on the pitch.
Erik ten Hag has as a means of punishment told Cristiano Ronaldo that he won’t be part of the team when Manchester United face Chelsea this weekend.
The 37-year-old would apparently be already looking out for a transfer ahead of the January transfer window as he may not wish to continue with United under ten Hag anymore.
Man United blocked Ronaldo’s departure last summer after their press release that the former Real Madrid star wasn’t for available in the transfer market as they have future plans with him but with things taking a quick turn, it’s certain a move away from Old Trafford is likely for Ronaldo by January.
