Eight Chelsea players could miss Bournemouth clash following World Cup break

The Blues will host the Cherries in the Premier League on Tuesday, December 27 following the World Cup break.

Qatar 2022 took place from November 20 to December 18 as Argentina became champions.

Chelsea prepare to return to action but are currently without several players as N’Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Carney Chukwuemeka remain sidelined.

Armando Broja and Wesley Fofana have also joined the list of injured players, as Broja suffered a knee injury in a friendly game against Aston Villa.

Meanwhile, Fofana suffered a injury setback in a behind-closed-doors game against Brentford.
