Inter Milan striker Edin Dzeko is close to a return to the English Premier League. The Bosnian previously played for Manchester City and is now of interest to Everton and Wolverhampton, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
According to the source, Inter is ready to part with 36-year-old Dzeko to sign former Juventus forward Paulo Dibala. Edin’s current contract with the Milan club runs until the summer of 2023.
It should be recalled that the 36-year-old Dzeko became an Inter player in the summer of 2021, having joined from Roma. The Bosnian midfielder scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 49 games last season. Edin previously played for Manchester City and Wolfsburg.
In 2007, Dzeko made his debut for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (124 matches, 63 goals, 25 assists).
