The Golden State Warriors PF Draymond Green said that a true leader has to be able to take responsibility.
“Responsibility is important everywhere, not just in basketball. As a leader, I hate leaders who, when things are going well, think it’s their fault, and when things start to smell bad, it’s everybody’s fault but their own.
As for me, I understand that in the end, if I play well, we win. If I play poorly, we can still win, but the important thing is that if I play well, we win. So the responsibility is on me as well.
You have to accept your role and take responsibility, otherwise, nothing will work. I can’t hold someone else accountable if I don’t hold myself accountable,” Green said.
“That’s my job…”
