The 76ers point guard Danny Green reacted to statements made by Minnesota player Patrick Beverley, who criticized Suns star Chris Paul for poor defensive play.
“All the teams are trying to attack through you, too, Pat Beverly. You don’t show any damn defence. You can’t handle Luka. How many times have I seen Luka call you a “little asshole.” He’s always trying to attack through you, taking every chance he can. Against Luka, you turn into a cone and a rack yourself,” Green said.
Beverly responded by tweeting out a photo showing his opponent’s low shooting percentage from the game, as well as a video of a successful defensive play against Luka Doncic.
“Nothing personal, bro. Nothing against you. We all like to chitchat,” Green wrote.
Green later tweeted a conciliatory message.
“Bro people target you too Pat Bev… you ain’t stopping Luka. It’s time and time again I see Luka call yo a** little man.”
