Defenseman Damion Lee (29 years old, 5’9″) will leave Golden State.
According to insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Lee has agreed to sign a 1-year contract with Phoenix.
Lee spent the last four seasons with the Warriors, during which time he appeared in 201 games (42 in the starting lineup). He averaged 8.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 20.6 minutes with 43.7% from the field and 36.6% from beyond the arc.
Damion had 7.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 63 games during the 21/22 championship season.
Lee is married to the native sister of Warriors leader Stephen Curry and is in a close relationship with the 2-time NBA MVP.
Gary Payton II, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Otto Porter, and Nemanja Bjelica has already left Golden State this offseason
