Chelsea are reportedly not planning on signing Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo because he wouldn’t fit Graham Potter’s playing style, according to reports.

Man United are anxious to part ways with Ronaldo after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner made some strong claims during his interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo said he doesn’t respect Erik ten Hag because the manager doesn’t respect him and claimed the former Ajax manager wants him out of the club.

The Dutchman has reportedly told Manchester United’s hierarchy that he’s happy to see Cristiano Ronaldo leave the club and believes the Red Devils can be stronger without the distractions that come along with him.

As a result, several outlets have linked several clubs with Cristiano Ronaldo, including the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Napoli.

However, according to David Steinberg, the Blues are not thinking about signing Ronaldo from Manchester United as they fear the Portuguese star may not fit in Graham Potter’s playing style.

Potter moved to Stamford Bridge in September as a permanent replacement for Thomas Tuchel but hasn’t done brilliantly in recent games.

Despite Chelsea’s struggle in the face of goal, the idea of signing Ronaldo isn’t welcomed as they want to put the manager first in any transfer.
