Tottenham assistant coach Cristian Stellini has reacted to Hugo Lloris’ long-term injury ahead of the club’s game with Leicester City.
The Spurs’ goalkeeper picked up a serious knee injury during the club’s Premier League game with Manchester City. It will see him missing the games for six to eight months.
Fraser Forster will now get his chance to play as Tottenham’s number one goalkeeper until the end of the current campaign.
“We’re disappointed about Hugo and his injury,” Stellini said ahead of the league game versus Leicester.
“However, we have a good experienced keeper like Fraser Forster,” the assistant coach added.
