Tottenham’s assistant boss Cristian Stellini has explained why Son Heung-min was dropped to bench against West Ham.
Spurs faced David Moyes’ side last week, celebrating a 2 – 0 win over the opponents.
Son was not part of the starting XI and was subbed in only during the clash.
“It was about conditioning. Sonny had a problem that he’s had for a bit of time,” Stellini said, via Football London.
“Sometimes players need time to recover. We have a busy period coming up and we need everyone 100%,” he added.
