Cristian Romero has expressed his happiness regarding Tottenham’s decision to secure the permanent transfer of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.
The 23-year-old midfielder had been on loan at Spurs for the past 18 months, impressing fans with his unique playing style and unconventional running technique.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has invested £25 million in Kulusevski’s acquisition, and Romero took to the comments section of Spurs’ Instagram announcement, writing “Great, Dejan Kulusevski.”
Under the defensive-focused guidance of coach Antonio Conte, the 29-cap Swedish international showcased his abilities by scoring seven goals and providing 16 assists for Tottenham, primarily during his initial tenure at the club.
It is hoped that new manager Ange Postecoglou can reignite Kulusevski’s talents and bring back some of his early brilliance.
