Palmer was on the scoresheet when the Blues faced City on Sunday and played a 4-4 draw. It was his goal from the penalty that helped Mauricio Pochettino’s side to draw the game.
Following the draw, Palmer and City youngster Rico Lewis have earned their 1st call-ups to England senior squad, as per the Athletic.
The duo were in U21s squad but elevated for EURO 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.
