Chelsea are said to be lining up a move for Everton duo of Antony Gordon and Amadou Onana as the Toffees continue to fight relegation.
Chelsea FC may not be finished in the transfer window, as they are reportedly considering a bold move for Everton duo Anthony Gordon and Amadou Onana.
This comes as Everton recently announced the sacking of Frank Lampard, and the club may be hesitant to sell key players as they look to battle for safety in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old Gordon was close to a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, with Chelsea having submitted a £40million bid which was rejected by Everton as they stood firm in their determination to keep hold of the young talent.
According to The The Telegraph , Chelsea is keen on the idea of signing Onana and Gordon, with the intention of loaning them back to Goodison Park until the end of the campaign, as the Blues battle for survival in the league.
Gordon has had a difficult season thus far, having scored just three goals in 18 appearances, and making just a single start since the restart after the World Cup.
Onana, on the other hand, has looked impressive in a struggling Everton side, and performed well when given the chance to represent Belgium in Qatar.
It remains to be seen if Chelsea will make a move for the Everton duo, and if Everton will be willing to let them go, but the transfer window is still open, and anything is possible in the world of football.
