In Chelsea’s quest to bolster their attacking prowess, reports suggest the Blues are eyeing a summer move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

Despite securing the services of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson last summer, Chelsea’s offensive struggles persist, evident from their current 11th position in the Premier League standings. Following their recent defeat to Wolves, the need for goal-scoring reinforcements is glaring.

Vlahovic has emerged as a prime target for Chelsea, with the Serbian forward enjoying a resurgence in form in recent weeks.

Sources suggest that Juventus could be tempted to part ways with Vlahovic for a fee in the region of £68 million, sparking interest from both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

The Blues’ decision to allow Armando Broja to join Fulham on loan signals their intent to pursue alternative striking options. While the likes of Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen are also linked with Chelsea, Vlahovic appears to be their primary target. Concerns over Osimhen’s hefty release clause and injury record may sway Chelsea towards prioritizing a move for Vlahovic in the upcoming transfer window.
