Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Ben Chilwell’s contract situation at Chelsea. Chilwell has been with the club since 2020 and his contract expires in 2025.
During this season, the defender suffered a hamstring injury. He has overall made 26 appearances in which he has scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists.
According to Romano, Chilwell will sign new long-term deal with the Blues this week which will run until June 2027.
Two clubs were interested in signing the defender, but he wanted to stay at Chelsea.
