The two teams played a goalless draw at full and extra times, and the winner was decided with the penalty shootouts. As a result, United advanced to the final of the domestic competition.
Erik ten Hag’s team will head to Wembley on June 3 to face Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
After the weekend’s successful game, United star Casemiro took to Twitter to react to his team’s win, writing: “Into the final!! Wembley here we come again!!”
