Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz summed up the results of Friday’s free race before the Hungarian Grand Prix.
It was an interesting Friday. The car worked well straight away – as soon as we hit the track from the pits at the start of the first practice. And we were able to do some great laps.
Before the second practice, we tried to make a few changes in the settings, to assess the situation and understand in what direction to go further, before qualifying and the race.
It felt a little worse, but we are still in great shape in terms of the balance of the car and speed. Nevertheless, it looks like it’s going to rain on Saturday, so we’ll also need to adapt to the conditions. Friday went well and I am optimistic about the rest of the weekend,” said Sainz.
