Real Madrid is reportedly preparing to make significant changes to their midfield, as their veteran midfielders Luka Modric and Toni Kroos approach the twilight of their respective careers.

While both players are expected to extend their deals with the club, Real Madrid understands that they will soon need to find replacements for these legends in the middle of the park.

Recent reports suggest that Real Madrid is keen to acquire the services of Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham. At the age of 19, Bellingham has already established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world, and his addition to the Real Madrid squad could significantly bolster their midfield.

However, it appears that Real Madrid is also targeting Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella as a potential signing. The 24-year-old midfielder has enjoyed significant success at both club and international level in recent times, making him a highly sought-after player in the transfer market.

According to sources from Fichajes, Carlo Ancelotti is keen on bringing Barella to Real Madrid. While there has been no confirmation on Inter Milan’s willingness to let go of the player, it has been suggested that they may consider offers around €60 million.

With Real Madrid preparing to overhaul their midfield in the near future, the potential signings of both Bellingham and Barella could prove crucial to their success.
