Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has sent a warning to Liverpool ahead of the two clubs’ meeting in the Champions League.
The two teams’ latest game took place in the final of the European top tier last season, with Los Blancos beat the Reds and lifting the title.
They will face each other again in midweek in the Champions League Round of 16, and Ancelotti met the media to share the latest news.
Speaking about the Premier League opponents, the Real boss admitted they are going to have a hard game.
“Liverpool have never changed their quality. We expect an intense game, we will be under pressure a lot, a game where we haven’t got time to breathe,” Ancelotti said, via Liverpool Echo.
“We know very well what to expect and we are prepared for that.”
