Manchester City are preparing to host Chelsea in the Carabao Cup third round game and ahead of the clash the referee has been confirmed
City will host the Blues on Wednesday, November 9 at Etihad Stadium.
Ahead of the game, Simon Hooper has been appointed as the referee.
The two sides have yet to face off in the Premier League this season as Chelsea will host City on January 5, while City will host the Blues in the league on May 20.
