The health department of the province of Quebec (Canada) sharply opposes the holding of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Montreal.
The North American country says that the stage in Montreal will not take place for the second year in a row. Canada believes that the risk of the spread of coronavirus will be too high, even if the Grand Prix is held without spectators, reports GPFans.

Despite this, Formula 1 has not yet announced the cancellation of the Canadian stage. The representative of the championship said that negotiations over the stage are still underway.
“We continue to negotiate with the promoters of the Canadian Grand Prix and are not yet ready to give further comments,” said an F-1 representative.
If this stage in Montreal is canceled, in the calendar it will most likely be replaced by the Turkish Grand Prix.
