Bukayo Saka has spoken out on Declan Rice’s winning goal against Manchester United.
Arsenal faced Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
United opened the scoring as Marcus Rashford scored at the 27th minute, meanwhile, Martin Odegaard equalised for the Gunners.
Declan Rice fired up Mikel Arteta’s side as he scored the second goal at the 90+6′ while Gabriel Jesus scored the winner at the 90+11′.
The Gunners celebrated a 3-1 win and Rice was named MOTM.
Now Rice along with Bukayo Saka have been called up to England national team for the September international break. Aaron Ramsdale and Eddie Nketiah have also been called up to the team.
The Three Lions will face Ukraine in UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifiers and Scotland in a friendly game.
While on international duty, Saka has been quizzed on Rice’s goal.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Saka said: “I think I’ve watched this goal back over 20 times! It was an unbelievable moment for him, his family & even the stadium, he told me the Emirates is crazy, when he felt the atmosphere.”
