Roberto De Zerbi saw his side replicate same energy they put out against Chelsea as they stunned Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The Seagulls came from behind to beat Arsenal 3-1 sending them out of the Carabao Cup race.

It appears the manager who took over the space left by Graham Potter is already finding his feet after slipping hugely earlier.

Brighton have now gone three games without a loss and could extend that to their next fixture when they battle Aston Villa on Sunday as a good stake on 1xbet could win you money providing they maintain similar energy.

Speaking after the game, their manager, Roberto De Zerbi shared that his side are only getting better and have to play better.

“We can play better, we made stupid mistakes. But I’m happy for this win because we were a bit lucky in the first part of the second half, as Arsenal could have scored from two or three chances,” the 43-year-old said.

“But I’m happy because we have many young players who were playing for me for the first time, and it’s difficult when you’re not playing so much.

“For me it’s very important to have a cup run and for this win against Arsenal. It’s an honour to win in this stadium but we have to think about the next game from tomorrow, and prepare the best we can for the next game. We want to win and to play better.”
