Brentford will host Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium on Monday evening in the Premier League.

Liverpool will take a trip to Brentford, West London, to face in-form Brentford in the Premier League and below our predicted starting lineups and predictions. 

The Reds are in decent form as well, having won four of their last five league matches including their 2-1 win over Leicester City at Anfield.

Brentford have been decent as they have gone unbeaten in their last five matches in the Premier League but they host a Liverpool side that is anxious to force through into the top four.

The Bees are likely to be without a number of first team players due to injury issues, including their most-inform player, Ivan Toney due to an injury.

Shandon Baptiste, Kristoffer Ajer, Aaron Hickey, Frank Onyeka, Thomas Strakosha and Ivan Toney. 

On Toney’s injury, Brentford boss said: ‘Of course, it didn’t look great, but I’ve also been in this game long enough to know that you never know exactly what it is until it’s been assessed over the following days.’

Luis Fernando Diaz, Arthur Ramos de Oliveira Melo, Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones are ruled out of the game. Roberto Firmino, Andrew Robertson, Harvey Elliott and Cody Gakpo, new signing, could feature against Brentford. 

Jurgen Klopp on Gakpo: ‘There might be a chance for Brentford, but I think not really, to be honest. Because obviously, the first of January is a bank holiday, and then all the papers. We will not rush it anyway. So, probably Wolves.’
