Brentford have set a price tag on their goalkeeper David Raya amid Manchester United interest.
There are doubts about David de Gea’s future as Manchester United’s first-choice goalkeeper following the Spaniard’s recent form at the club that would cost the team their place in the Premier League top four.
Despite being close to signing a new contract with De Gea, United have now been linked with a few goalkeepers, including David Raya from Brentford. According to Sky Sports, The Bees value their goalkeeper at £40 million.
Raya has declined two contract offers from Brentford, and with only a year left on his current deal, it appears likely that he will seek a move to a Champions League club this summer.
In anticipation of Raya’s potential departure, Brentford have begun planning to sign a new goalkeeper. Alban Lafont, Mark Flekken, and Caoimhin Kelleher are the three names mentioned by Sky Sports as possible replacements.
